FAQs
What’s the difference between personal training and remote fitness coaching?
Personal Training offers LIVE sessions with me. I am there to guide you through your workout, offer coaching and feedback, and cheer you on, all in real-time during our live zoom sessions. This is great for folks who thrive with face-to-face interaction, want immediate feedback and support, and like having the accountability of showing up at a dedicated time.

Fitness Coaching does not have the live session component but I’m still with you every step of the way. Your fitness plan is delivered straight to your phone and I’m just a message away any time you have questions or need support. You still get feedback and coaching from me, by submitting form check videos and filling out weekly check-in questionnaires as well as coaching calls included in some payment tiers. This is a great option when you want to workout on YOUR schedule and still have a coach in your back pocket.

Do you offer early morning, evening, or weekend sessions?
I do not. My availability for live virtual sessions is currently Tuesdays and Thursdays from 9am - 5pm. If you want to work with me but my hours do not align with your schedule, I highly recommend Remote Fitness Coaching as this allows you to workout on your schedule but still get all the benefits of working with a coach!
What are your qualifications?
I have a degree in Exercise Science from Portland Community College where I also completed two 12 week internships at local PDX gyms and am a Certified Personal Trainer through the American College of Sports Medicine (ACSM).
I have experience working with a wide range of general population clients (age 25-75). A lot of my clients are queer, neurodivergent, plus size, have a history of disordered eating, and/or have conditions like PCOS, endometriosis, PMDD, autoimmune disorders, hEDS, and chronic pain.
Do you offer in-person personal training?
Not at this time. Virtual personal training isn’t for everyone but I’ve found it can feel less intimidating and more comfortable than a gym environment for many folks. It also offers more flexibility with scheduling and saves YOU time as there’s no commute to and from the gym. Best of all, I can work with folks located ANYWHERE. If you want to workout in a gym environment and work with me, my Fitness Coaching membership is the way to go!
Why is there an initial 3-month commitment for memberships?
Simply put, we’re here to help you build a movement practice that’s sustainable, supportive, and built to last. No quick fixes or cookie cutter programming here. It takes time to learn new skills, build confidence, and get to know your body. And just as importantly, it takes time to build a strong, trusting coaching relationship. That’s why we start with a 3-month commitment: to give you the foundation you need for long-term success.
After the initial 3-months, subscriptions switch to month-to-month commitments.
