About Me

From Exercise Hater to Mover for Life!

I used to believe:

  • Exercise was merely a tool for changing the way my body looked

  • If my body didn’t look the way I wanted it to, it was my fault (I wasn’t disciplined or motivated enough)

  • I wasn’t good at sports in school (read: I had other interests) therefore the gym wasn’t for me

  • I could never stick with a fitness routine, I was a failure

Today I believe:

  • Fitness doesn’t have to be complicated, rigid, or rule your life to be effective & beneficial

  • All movement COUNTS

  • Everyone deserves to move in a way that helps them feel strong, sturdy, and supported

  • Your weight, health, and worth are three completely separate things

It took me a while to get where I am, but my goal is to shorten that timeline for you so you can:

  • Learn to listen to your body

  • Rest just as hard as you work

  • Make aligned and compassionate choices

  • Move through all different seasons of life and adjust accordingly without guilt, shame, or fear
