From exercise hater to mover for life
Back in the day, I used to believe:
- Exercise was merely a tool for changing the way my body looked
- If my body didn’t look the way I wanted it to, it was my fault (I wasn’t disciplined or motivated enough)
- I wasn’t good at sports in school (read: I had other interests) therefore the gym wasn’t for me
- I could never stick with a fitness routine, I was a failure
Through a lot of unlearning, trial and error, and mindset work, things began to shift
today I believe:
- Fitness doesn’t have to be complicated, rigid, or rule your life to be effective & beneficial
- All movement COUNTS
- Everyone deserves to move in a way that helps them feel strong, sturdy, and supported
- Your weight, health, and worth are three completely separate things
And now I help people just like you
Learn to listen to their bodies
Rest just as hard as they work
Make aligned and compassionate choices
Move through all different seasons of life and adjust accordingly
