About Me
From Exercise Hater to Mover for Life!
I used to believe:
Exercise was merely a tool for changing the way my body looked
If my body didn’t look the way I wanted it to, it was my fault (I wasn’t disciplined or motivated enough)
I wasn’t good at sports in school (read: I had other interests) therefore the gym wasn’t for me
I could never stick with a fitness routine, I was a failure
Today I believe:
Fitness doesn’t have to be complicated, rigid, or rule your life to be effective & beneficial
All movement COUNTS
Everyone deserves to move in a way that helps them feel strong, sturdy, and supported
Your weight, health, and worth are three completely separate things
It took me a while to get where I am, but my goal is to shorten that timeline for you so you can:
Learn to listen to your body
Rest just as hard as you work
Make aligned and compassionate choices
Move through all different seasons of life and adjust accordingly without guilt, shame, or fear
