Hayley Valoppi About Me
From Exercise Hater to Mover for Life
I used to believe:
Exercise was merely a tool for changing the way my body looked
If my body didn’t look the way I wanted it to, it was my fault (I wasn’t disciplined or motivated enough)
I wasn’t good at sports in school (read: I had other interests) therefore I didn’t belong in the gym
I could never stick with to a routine which meant I was a failure
Today I believe:
Fitness doesn’t have to be complicated, rigid, or rule your life to be effective & beneficial
All movement COUNTS
Everyone deserves to move in a way that helps them feel strong, sturdy, and supported
Your weight, health, and worth are three completely separate things
It took me a while to get where I am, but my goal is to shorten that timeline for you so you can:
Learn to listen to your body
Rest just as hard as you work
Make value-aligned choices rooted in self-compassion
Pivot when needed without spiraling
Move through all different seasons of life
